Qualifications

• Technical degree/certification and two years of experience preferred.
• High School diploma with five years of experience in a technical field required.
• Must possess knowledge of power hand tools, test instruments for calibration.
• Knowledge of plant machinery, replacement parts, piping and related equipment.

Responsibilities

• Execute calibration maintenance of electrical meters, line speed, footage meters, and other process equipment.
• Follow procedures when equipment fails to meet calibration criteria and trace data.
• Document calibration data in CCMS and enter new records as required.
• Perform peer reviews of calibration records and provide guidance to junior technicians.
• Maintain schedules and CCMS records for calibrated equipment.
• Coordinate with Owning Department to meet specifications and timelines.
• Clean up equipment and work area after calibration tasks.
• Research new instruments and calibration equipment; standardize where possible.
