Job summary

Qualifications

• 1+ year of academic or industry experience with software languages and operating systems.
• Very good Python or C++ skills.

Responsibilities

• Creation and programming of automated test scripts.
• Data exploration, analysis, machine learning, and predictive modeling.
• Data mining and pattern recognition.
• Software In-the-Loop (SIL) simulation development and testing.
• Support learning and collaboration events (Hack-a-thon, Coding/AI training, etc.).
• Assist Calibration Engineer daily activities (flashing vehicles, analyzing data, validating software and data).

The internship will be from either January - August 2027, or May - December 2027.

This internship takes place in Farmington Hills, Michigan, the headquarters of Bosch North America, in the Calibration Engineering group of Power Solutions.

The successful candidate will be given an 8-month project, based on their skills and career focus.

These include supporting:

• Creation and programming of automated test scripts
• Data exploration, analysis, machine learning, and predictive modeling
• Data mining and pattern recognition
• Software In-the-Loop simulation development and testing
• Support learning and collaboration events (Hack-a-thon, Coding/AI training, etc.)
• Support and learning about Calibration Engineer's daily activities (flashing vehicles, analyzing data, validating software and data, etc.)

• Must be currently enrolled in an accredited university and pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering, and/or Computer Science with at least one semester completed
• 1+ year academic or industry experience with software languages and operating systems.

• Must be a minimum of 18 years of age
• Must work 35-40 hours per week
• Valid US driver's license

Preferred Qualifications

• Automotive-related hobby and/or experience working with engines or vehicles.
• Experience with other programming languages
• Projects in automotive field
