Job summary

JM Test Systems, LLC. seeks a Calibration Lab Technician I to join our metrology team in Texas.

You will learn and perform calibration, inspection, and certification of instruments across electrical, dimensional, physical, mechanical, and optical disciplines in a hands‑on lab setting and on customer sites. Under supervision, you will follow established procedures, document results, and help ensure instruments meet safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Solid foundation in math and measurement concepts.
• Ability to read, interpret, and follow calibration procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
• Willingness to travel for onsite calibration work.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate and certify instruments following established procedures.
• Inspect, repair, and adjust instruments to meet performance standards.
• Document calibration data and generate certificates for customers.
• Support field work at customer sites as part of a team.
• Maintain a clean, organized lab and safe work environment.
• Learn new calibration disciplines and contribute to procedure development.
