Qualifications

• Pursuing BS in Mechanical Engineering or Materials Science (2–3 years completed).
• Experience with metrology tools (micrometers, calipers) and basic lab instrumentation.
• Familiarity with data logging tools and Excel for tracking.
• Hands-on ability with hand tools, fixtures, and written procedures for equipment work.
• Analytical skills to debug and identify calibration anomalies.
• Strong attention to detail and good verbal/written communication; team player.
• Eligibility: US citizen or permanent resident for export-controlled docs.

Responsibilities

• Perform, track, debug and troubleshoot calibration procedures for backend semiconductor equipment using established protocols and measurement tools.
• Inspect, maintain and assist with repair of calibration fixtures and support equipment to ensure operational readiness.
• Log calibration results, maintain traceability records and support data analysis to verify equipment performance trends.
• Identify opportunities and support implementation of process improvements to reduce downtime and improve calibration accuracy.
• Follow and promote lab and facility safety requirements, participate in safety reviews and support corrective actions.
• Work independently and within cross-functional teams to execute calibration projects and communicate findings to engineers and technicians
