Job summary

Amity Foundation is seeking compassionate individuals to serve as a Cal MHSA Certified Peer Navigator within its prison and re-entry programs. The role involves teaching life skills and family relations, with emphasis on documentation and collaboration with state staff.

Must hold Cal MHSA certification; certification number on resume is preferred, and candidates without certification should wait or provide a test date. This is a full-time onsite position in the North Carolina area.

Qualifications

• Must be a Cal MHSA Certified Peer Navigator to be hired.
• Candidates who include their Certification number on resume will be prioritized.
• If you do not have Cal MHSA certification, wait or have a scheduled date for certification to apply.
• Disqualification occurs if certification is not obtained.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate CBI Life Skills and Family Relations classes using curriculum.
• Conduct class and individual sessions to develop action plans.
• Evaluate and document progress of participants.
• Engage participants daily and enforce group norms.
• Document delivery of ARMS programming services.
• Collaborate with CDCR/CCHCS staff and headquarters.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
