Job summary

Amity Foundation in the United States is seeking compassionate individuals for the Cal MHSA Certified Peer Navigator role to support prison and re-entry programs. You will teach life skills and family relations, document progress, and collaborate with CDCR staff.

Must have Cal MHSA Certification; the position is onsite with a hourly wage of $25 and full-time status. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Must have Cal MHSA Certification to be hired.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to foster teamwork and cohesiveness.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Extensive knowledge of office management systems and procedures.
• Ability to maintain confidential information.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate CBI Life Skills and/or Family Relations classes using evidence based curriculum.
• Conduct class and individual sessions and develop action plans; create make-up work.
• Evaluate and document progress of participants in their classes.
• Engage participants daily and reinforce group norms and participation expectations.
• Document delivery of CBI programming services in ARMS.
• Collaborate with CDCR/CCHCS headquarters and local staff.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
