Job summary

Amity Foundation seeks a Cal MHSA Certified Peer Navigator to teach Life Skills and Family Relations within its prison and re-entry programs. You will facilitate classes, conduct individual sessions, and document progress to support community reintegration.

The role requires collaboration with CDCR/CCHCS staff, onsite work, and a commitment to research-driven methods. Compensation includes a $25 hourly wage and full-time benefits as listed.

Qualifications

• Must hold Cal MHSA Peer Navigator certification; include certification on resume preferred.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to foster teamwork and cohesiveness.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate CBI Life Skills and Family Relations classes using standard curriculum.
• Conduct sessions to develop action plans and provide make-up work.
• Evaluate and document progress of participants.
• Engage participants daily and reinforce group norms.
• Document delivery of services in ARMS.
• Collaborate with CDCR/CCHCS HQ, local institution, and staff.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
