Hy-Vee’s Bakery is seeking a motivated Bakery Cake Designer in Madison, WI. You’ll transform customer visions into beautifully decorated cakes for birthdays, weddings, and everyday treats, including on-site wedding cake setups.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, taking orders, checking details and timelines, decorating items, and coordinating with the bakery team. You’ll lead part-time staff and ensure safety and cleanliness at all times.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and take orders at the bakery counter.
• Check daily orders, manage timelines and production schedules, verify cake details.
• Decorate bakery items and stay current on designs; develop daily bakery orders for bakers.
• Lead and train part-time staff, ensure sanitation and safety.
• Deliver and set up wedding cakes on site when required.
