Qualifications

• Efficient cake and pastry decorating skills with intermediate piping techniques.
• Understand color theory for buttercream colors and palettes.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, fill, and finish/decorate cakes, tarts, and other bakery items.
• Build, ice, and decorate cakes following standard procedures; maintain production records.
• Prioritize production lists and adjust as needed.
• Merchandise and showcase products in the display case; monitor freshness and rotation.
• Provide guidance to Bakery Decorator Apprentices and other team members.
• Create special order cake designs per customer preferences.
• Deliver excellent customer service and respond promptly to inquiries.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the workspace.
