Festival Foods is seeking a Cake Decorator II to bring artistry to our bakery, decorating cakes, pies, cookies, and pastries while delivering exceptional guest service.

You will plan production, create eye-catching displays, and ensure freshness and accuracy for special orders, working with the bakery team to uphold quality standards and guest satisfaction in a fast-paced store environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional guest service, greeting guests, answering questions and addressing concerns.
• Artistic cake decoration—top, finish, and decorate bakery products.
• Create eye-catching displays to drive sales.
• Exceed guest expectations with beautiful, creative, and unique orders.
• Reduce shrink by minimizing waste and using proper icing quantities.
• Stock management—fill, rotate, and remove decorated products.
• Production planning to ensure adequate back stock.
• Maintain freshness by rotating stock and removing outdated items.
• Guest interaction—assist guests, take orders, and collaborate on vision.
• Telephone assistance—answer calls with proper etiquette.
• Team support and reinforce Festival culture and expectations.
• Supply management—maintain adequate supplies in cake decorating area.
• Department contribution—assist other bakery areas as needed.
• Cleanliness—keep work areas and displays clean.
• Food safety—maintain logs and meet quality standards (100% by 10am and 5pm).
• Honor commitments—regular attendance and notice for absences.
• Support the team—other duties as assigned.
