Responsibilities

• Provide polite greetings and interactions with all guests.
• Prepare product for sale, icing, decorating, pricing, packaging and labeling.
• Maintain product level, quality and freshness.
• Perform bakery clerk tasks as needed.
• Keep cooler, freezer, prep and sales areas clean and sanitary.
• Clean work area, decorating bags and tools.
• Rotate icings and manage accurate dating.
• Use cake manual and production sheets for reference.
• Write messages on cakes and mix colors per chart.
• Operate airbrush and manage cake production sheet.
• Help achieve bakery sales, shrink and profits targets.
• Assist with guest requests and communicate temperature breakdowns.
• Handle product receiving and storage, keep areas organized.
• Support Front Porch duties to ensure guest arrival standard.
• Announce specials and sales information on PA system.
• Perform other duties assigned by management.
• Maintain overall cleanliness and organization of work area.
• Assist in other bakery sections as needed.

Overview

To grow community through building guest loyalty and providing personal guest interactions that build genuine relationships with guests and result in a brand-aligned experience.

Responsibilities

1. 1. Provide polite, friendly greetings and interactions with all guests.
2. 2. Prepare product for sale (icing, decorating, pricing, packaging and labeling).
3. 3. Maintain product level, quality and freshness.
4. 4. When requested perform bakery clerk functions.
5. 5. Maintain sanitation standards in the cooler, freezer, prep area and sales area.
6. 6. Properly cleans work area, couplers and decorating bags.
7. 7. Maintain the organization of the freezer, including proper rotation of product according to variety.
8. 8. Communicate guest requests to management.
9. 9. Communicate temperature breakdowns to supervisor.
10. 10. Keeps supply area neat, clean and tidy at all times.
11. 11. Properly rotates icings (including how to read dates of icings) and scrapes down buckets.
12. 12. Use cake manual as reference material.
13. 13. Write on cakes.
14. 14. Properly mix colors according to color chart.
15. 15. Masters the use of the airbrush.
16. 16. Use cake production sheet.
17. 17. Achieve budgeted sales, shrink and profits for the cake section of the bakery.
