Full Job Description
Position Summary
A froster will make frosting and frost all cakes according to NBC's bakery standards and time guidelines, including cakes available for walk-in guests, pre-ordered cakes, and marketing cakes. The froster will be responsible for keeping the display case fully stocked, samples readily available, and maintaining appropriate par levels of additional cakes. It will be the froster's responsibility to keep the frosting station clean, sanitized, and running efficiently.

Accountabilities/Duties
- Follow NBC proprietary frosting recipes and application methods with precision to meet productivity goals.
- Utilize measuring instruments, commercial-grade or handheld mixers, and pastry bags to frost cakes effectively.
- Prioritize cake pre-orders according to schedule and frost cakes for walk-in guest orders accordingly.
- Ensure an adequate supply of samples and frosted cakes are available in the display case, maintaining proper frosting and par levels.
- Adhere to proper packaging, labeling, storage of frosted cakes, product rotation standards, and maintain relevant logs.
- Monitor frosting supplies inventory and notify management when replenishment is needed.
- Evaluate baked and frosted cakes to ensure NBC standards are met and inform management of any quality issues.
- Clean, sanitize, and restock workstation; ensure frosting supplies are prepared for the next shift; wash equipment as needed.
- Comply with all health and safety guidelines, policies, and dress code, maintaining personal hygiene.
- Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality.

Education, Certifications, and Work Experience Requirements
- Applicants must be 16 years or older.
- No formal education or experience required, but bakery or foodservice experience is a plus.
Work Availability
Must be flexible to work various shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
