Job summary

The GIANT Company is seeking a bakery team member to support daily operations in our Hanover, PA location. You will start shifts by reviewing schedules, preparing equipment, and ensuring PPE compliance, then prepare and decorate baked goods such as cakes and cones, and handle orders with care.

You’ll keep work areas sanitary and contribute to loss tracking and safety standards. Strong eligibility to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must have valid identification.
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate to complete duties and follow policies.
• Must complete a 60-day introductory period.
• Must meet ergonomic and physical requirements.
• Must be able to use or learn to use equipment and tools.
• Must perform all job functions safely and meet performance standards including regular attendance.

Responsibilities

• Review work schedule and supplies at shift start, prepare for duties.
• Mix frosting, color frosting, make cones, load cones, frost cakes, decorate cakes.
• Take, complete, and store orders in bakery cooler.
• Clean and sanitize all surfaces, tools, equipment, displays, floors and counters.
• Track and record loss.
• Demonstrate proper food safety and sanitation habits.
