Job summary

Sam's East, Inc. in Memphis, TN is seeking a Cake Decorator to help deliver high-quality bakery items and friendly service to members. You will work with team members to decorate cakes, manage inventory, and ensure food safety standards are met.

This role requires basic cake decorating skills, 6 months in fresh production, and a willingness to learn company systems. You’ll use tools, follow recipes, and contribute to a positive, energetic team focused on serving Members.

Qualifications

• 6 months' experience in fresh production area.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Complete required trainings and assessments within the prescribed time period if hired.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to educate associates and deliver customer service.
• Plan bakery productions to ensure quality and accuracy of decorations following recipes and instructions.
• Operate and sanitize equipment; maintain cold chain compliance and inventory management.
• Assist members with purchasing decisions and resolve member issues and concerns.
• Demonstrate high-quality service, mentor others, and model Walmart values.
