Job summary

Sam's East, Inc. is seeking a Cake Decorator to support member service in our bakery area. You will collaborate with teammates to ensure quality and seasonal readiness, shaping decorations with cakes, flowers and lettering while following safety and sanitation guidelines.

You will use handheld tools to assist with production decisions, merchandise, and training, while delivering consistent, high-quality bakery items to members. This role emphasizes teamwork and a strong customer-first approach.

Qualifications

• 6 months' experience in fresh production area.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Team member: collaborate with cross functional teams and educate other associates on tools, tasks and resources to deliver member service.
• Be an expert: plan bakery production with quality and accuracy of decorative designs following recipes and measurements, using bags, tips and nozzles.
• Be a techie: use handheld devices to drive sales, improve shopping experience and assist with production decisions and training.
