Responsibilities

• Provide fast, friendly, and accurate customer service to create a positive shopping experience.
• Be courteous and helpful to other associates.
• Understand ingredients, mixes, icings and color coordination.
• Follow production standards and processing guidelines for all products.
• Adhere to manuals for processing, labeling, etc.
• Ensure proper sanitation of the department, equipment and food handling.
• Manage ordering, receiving, preparation, conditioning and displaying merchandise per policies.
• Adhere to company guidelines and standard practice.
• Follow Food Safety and Workplace Safety guidelines and procedures.
• Identify and correct unsafe conditions that could cause accidents.
• Report accidents per Food Lion procedures to the Manager on Duty.
• Ensure compliance with local, state and federal regulations.
• Wear Food Lion uniform with name badge and neat appearance.
• Understand and use company tools and complete CBT and training.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
