Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide quality customer service within the Deli Bakery Department.
• Maintain an atmosphere of enthusiastic customer awareness with primary emphasis on fast, friendly, and accurate customer service to create a positive shopping experience.
• Understand production standards for processing of all product and follow all technical manuals for processing, labeling, etc.
• Ensure proper sanitation of department, equipment and proper food handling/preparation.
• Handle ordering, receiving, preparation, conditioning and displaying of merchandise in line with policies.
• Adhere to company guidelines, policies and standard practice and follow Food Safety and Workplace Safety guidelines.
• Observe and correct unsafe conditions; report accidents according to procedures.
• Wear the Food Lion uniform with apron and name badge when on duty and maintain a neat appearance.
