Qualifications

• Provides outstanding guest service while assisting in cake decorating and pastry presentation.
• Able to learn product knowledge and bakery procedures including cake program and seasonal items.
• Maintains safety and sanitation as a core priority in all bakery activities.

Responsibilities

• Learn product knowledge and procedures including cake program, seasonal items, and color mixing.
• Follow procedures to help achieve out‑of‑stock goals.
• Apply merchandising principles to generate sales and WOW guests.
• Provide exemplary customer service and help guests locate products.
• Become familiar with products to answer questions and make suggestions.
• Handle products and equipment per food safety guidelines to ensure a safe shopping environment.
• Demonstrate suggestive selling techniques.
• Prepare and decorate products for Bakery displays, rotating stock and ensuring freshness.
• Record special orders accurately to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment, area, and department to meet sanitation standards.
• Assist in maintaining Bakery backroom, coolers and freezers.
• Assist in other areas as required.
