Job Responsibilities

• Ensure efficient and courteous customer service at all times in support of the company mission to "Run the Best Store in Town!"
• Maintain a positive attitude; create an atmosphere of friendliness and fun through flexibility and teamwork.
• Generate a positive, friendly, and fun working environment with a customer-first initiative by greeting and speaking to customers, providing prompt, courteous, and efficient service.
• Prepare and produce quality food and products to meet or exceed customer and company expectations.
• Decorate specialty cakes, including the use of a photo cake computer.
• Take telephone orders for food and specialty cakes.
• Maintain table cakes and assist in proper rotation and dating of Food Service products.
• Responsible for maintaining product inventory and placing orders.
• Keep display cases, workstations, and surrounding areas neat and clean.
• Ensure all special cake orders are ready for delivery on or before the scheduled time.
• Cross-training in multiple areas with varying responsibilities is expected for Food Service Associates.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Food Service experience is a plus but not required.
• Ability to meet physical, mental, and visual demands.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions, perform routine and repetitive tasks, and interact with individuals at various levels daily.
• Attendance during scheduled shifts is required to adhere to company policies.
