Job Responsibilities
- Ensure efficient and courteous customer service at all times in support of the company mission to "Run the Best Store in Town!"
- Maintain a positive attitude; foster an atmosphere of friendliness and fun through flexibility and teamwork.
- Create a positive, friendly, and fun working environment with a customer-first approach by greeting and engaging with customers, providing prompt, courteous, and efficient service.
- Prepare and produce high-quality food and products to meet or exceed customer and company expectations.
- Decorate specialty cakes, including using a photo cake computer.
- Take telephone orders for food and specialty cakes.
- Maintain display case, workstation, and surrounding area cleanliness.
- Assist in proper rotation and dating of food service products.
- Manage product inventory and place orders as needed.
- Ensure all special cake orders are ready for delivery on time.
- Participate in cross-training across multiple areas with varying responsibilities.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Food service experience is a plus but not required.
- Ability to meet physical, mental, and visual demands.
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions, perform routine tasks, and interact effectively with individuals at all levels.
- Reliable attendance during scheduled shifts to adhere to company policies.
