Job summary

Big Y Foods, Inc. is seeking a Bakery Specialist/Cake Decorator in Greenfield, MA to deliver an exceptional customer experience by preparing fresh cakes, pastries, and baked goods.

The role focuses on high-quality decorating, production, and serving the bakery department with strong product knowledge. The position requires maintaining department standards, proper ordering and inventory, and adherence to food safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Must be proficient in cake decorating and ordering (as assigned) for the entire sales areas of the bakery department.
• Willingness to cross train and learn other areas as needed.
• Must project a clean and professional appearance.
• Ability to operate within company policies, procedures, and standards.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

The Bakery Specialist/Cake Decorator is responsible for providing an exceptional customer experience by preparing and ensuring the freshest quality product. The Bakery Specialist/Cake Decorator produces high quality cakes and baked goods, maintains department conditions, to include proper ordering, inventory, production, and food safety standards in the Bakery department. The Bakery Specialist/Cake Decorator provides product knowledge and expertise to our customers.
