Lowes Foods in Lexington, SC is seeking a friendly Bakery Clerk to help create a welcoming guest experience and maintain bakery products with care and consistency.

You will greet guests, prepare and label products, rotate stock, assist with cake decoration, and ensure cleanliness and organization in the bakery and related areas. Strong communication and teamwork are essential, as is the ability to lift up to 25 lbs regularly and 50 lbs occasionally.

Qualifications

• Ability to work well with others.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs consistently and 50 lbs occasionally.
• Ability to read and understand information and direction.
• Effective communication, guest service and selling skills.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to bend, kneel and stand for extended periods of time.

Responsabilités

• Provide polite, friendly greetings and interactions with guests.
• Prepare product for sale (icing, decorating, packaging and labeling).
• Maintain product level, quality and freshness.
• When requested perform bakery clerk functions.
• Maintain sanitation standards in the cooler, freezer, prep area and sales area.
• Communicate guest requests to management.
• Communicate temperature breakdowns to supervisor.
• Keep supply area neat, clean and tidy at all times.
• Use cake production sheet and read dates on icings.
