Job summary

Wagman is seeking a Drill Shaft Caisson Operator to join our Geotechnical Division in Virginia. This role involves safely setting and operating caisson drill rigs, inspecting equipment, and supporting project tasks on outdoor sites throughout the year.

Work is performed on construction sites with safety as a priority; travel is regional within VA, and the position is full-time with a comprehensive benefits package. You will work with the project team to ensure deadlines are met.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License.
• Experience in earth work, drilling.
• Capable of operating machinery and rigs safely in accordance with company policy.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry, load, or unload materials.
• Operate and assist in maintaining drill rigs and related equipment.
• Perform minor repairs and service to equipment.
• Run other construction equipment such as excavator or skid steer if capable.
• Supervise drill rig helpers.
• Responsible for safety policies and required to wear PPE.
