Seminole Hard Rock in Atlantic City seeks a Cage Cashier to handle high-volume cash and non-cash transactions with precision and courtesy. You will safeguard funds, balance imprest banks, and ensure adherence to internal controls and state regulations, including Bank Secrecy Act compliance.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the Cage Supervisors and above, the Cage Cashier is responsible for the safety and security of company funds and controlling and accounting of funds for the cage and general cashiering windows.
• Performs high volume cash and non-cash transactions for our guests and internal customers in a courteous, accurate, and timely manner.
• Must also comply and follow with strict adherence to Internal Control policies and procedures and state and federal regulations; including Bank Secrecy Act and AML compliance.
• Balance and issue imprest banks issued to F&B and Hotel team members.
• Enter patron transactions into the company computer system accurately.
• Prepare paperwork, balance sheets and documents in accordance with the NJ Gaming Regulations and Internal Controls.
• Transfer cash, chips and checks between cages and/or departments accurately.
• Assist the Kiosk bank and troubleshooting of Kiosk machines.
• Maintain compliance with department policies to ensure integrity of Cage operation.
• Participate in daily cage reconciliation and ensure accurate transactions and balancing.
• Comply with Federal Title 31 laws and promote responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service by notifying managers of concerns.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and support ethics and company mission and values.
• Report any illegal acts or ethics violations to managers or Ethics Hotline.

Job Description:

• Performs high volume cash and non-cash transactions for our guests and internal customers in a courteous, accurate, and timely manner.
• Must also comply and follow with strict adherence to Internal Control policies and procedures, the company's Responsible Gaming plan, and state and federal regulations; Which include the Bank Secrecy Act and the Anti-Money Laundering-Title 31 Compliance program.
• Responsible for the imprest bank issued while performing external guest and in-house monetary transactions.
• Balance and issue imprest banks issued to F&B and Hotel team members.
• Enter patron transactions into the company computer system accurately.
• Prepare paperwork, balance sheets and documents in accordance with the NJ Gaming Regulations and within the guidelines of Internal Controls.
• Transfer cash, chips and checks between cages and/or departments in an accurate and efficient manner.
• Assist the Kiosk bank in replenishing kiosks on the casino floor
• Assisting Slots in troubleshooting the Kiosk machines
• Strictly adhere to department policies and procedures in order to maintain the integrity of the Cage operation.
• Participate in the daily cage reconciliation process by applying accurate transaction and balancing practices.
• Comply with Federal Title 31 laws.
• Demonstrate a commitment to ensuring responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service by discreetly notifying appropriate managers of concerns and observations.
• Always promote positive public/team member relations.
• Maintain a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility.
