We’re enlisting experienced professionals to manage cage and credit operations with a focus on compliance, collections, and customer relations.
Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. Responsibilities
- Deliver internal and external guest service.
- Staff, schedule, evaluate, train, develop and monitor subordinate personnel.
- Recommend wage increases, promotions, demotions, discipline and other employment actions for subordinate personnel.
- Understand department objectives, standards, guidelines and budget to achieve effective supervision of department; adjust daily schedule according to business levels.
- Monitor credit granting and collection policies and procedures to ensure compliance with internal and external regulatory directives and laws, and maintain protection of large amounts of currency.
- Ensure procedures and proper controls are strictly enforced to protect assets.
- Monitor and evaluate overall company activities in relation to departmental operations to ensure integration of company needs with services rendered through credit and collections.
- Review compliance with relevant gaming regulations to ensure cage operating within these parameters.
- Secure payment from customers with delinquent credit through written, verbal and personal contact to maximize collection ratio while maintaining good customer relations.
- Work with customer relations issues beyond staff authority to resolve situations equitably.
- Monitor and evaluate activities of cage cashiers to ensure achievement of financial, policy and regulatory objectives.
Qualifications
- At least 21 years of age.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license.
- Demonstrated knowledge of cage and credit operations.
- Demonstrated understanding of legal, banking and accounting issues.
- High school diploma or equivalent and at least 2 years of experience in cashier/credit/collection or overall gaming operations, or an equivalent combination of training, education and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.
