Mass General Brigham’s Brigham and Women's Faulkner Hospital is hiring a Café Cashier to provide outstanding customer service in the hospital cafeteria. This onsite role involves operating the cash register, processing transactions, restocking merchandise, and supporting catering operations.

The ideal candidate is friendly and dependable, thriving in a fast-paced food service environment and will work every other weekend from 12:30 PM to 7:00 PM.

Qualifications

• Provide exceptional customer service and promptly address customer questions or concerns.
• Operate cash registers and accurately process customer transactions.
• Balance cash drawers, prepare deposits, and maintain opening and closing cash banks.
• Stock and replenish cafeteria items, including beverages, snacks, paper products, cooler items, and salad bar supplies.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of cafeteria dining areas, serving stations, and tray return locations.
• Adhere to all cash-handling, food safety, sanitation, and HACCP standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate cash registers and process customer transactions.
• Balance cash drawers and prepare deposits.
