Gadsden Independent School District (NM) seeks a school cafeteria worker to prepare, chill and serve meals in accordance with established procedures. You will maintain records and operate the POS system to account for student and adult meals.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, and you must obtain a NM food handler certification within 30 days. Expect training, adherence to safety standards, and occasional other duties as assigned in a busy school environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Food handler certification required.
• Must obtain New Mexico food handler certification within 30 days of employment.
• Certification should be valid for 3 years.

Responsabilités

• Prepare, chill and serve food following established procedures.
• Maintain accurate records according to procedures.
• Operate Point of Service system to account for meals.
• Communicate effectively with parents, staff and students.
• Attend job-related training classes and workshops.
• Follow safety and sanitation standards in food prep, storage and service.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
