Fairview Health Services is seeking a Food Service Worker to prepare and portion meals, plate and serve food, and maintain sanitary conditions in cafeterias and patient areas. The role involves handling food safely, washing dishes, and supporting patient and staff dining services. Strong English communication and basic math skills are required.

Preferred candidates may have a HS diploma or GED. This on-site role offers benefits and a role within a hospital food services team in Edina, MN.

Ability to communicate clearly, verbally and in writing, using the English language.

Prepares and portions food appropriately for designated areas.
Plates and serves food.
Handles and stores food in a safe manner following HACCP standard operation procedures.
Sanitizes equipment and work area per assigned schedules and designated procedures.
Wash and sanitize dishes and utensils.
Serves customers in cafeterias, doctors dining rooms and other non-patient locations.
Demonstrates ability to provide care or service adjusting approaches to reflect developmental level and cultural differences of population served.
