Job summary

TrulyHired is seeking a Cafeteria Operator to prepare and serve breakfast and lunch meals for students in a 6-hour daily shift. The role emphasizes following recipes, portion control, and presenting appealing meals in a clean, friendly environment.

The ideal candidate will have a High School diploma, some school food service experience, and the ability to meet sanitation and safety requirements. Training and ongoing safety courses are provided.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• Previous school food service experience preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Completion of sanitation training as required by program.

Responsibilities

• Prepare assigned breakfast and lunch meals following established recipes.
• Serve attractive, well-presented, portion-controlled menu items in a friendly manner.
• Maintain sanitation and food safety practices per program guidelines.
• Attend required sanitation/refresher courses and safety training.
• Follow directions from cafeteria management with limited supervision.
