Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred; or up to one-month related experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Basic math skills for measuring, portions, and inventory tasks.
• Ability to follow detailed, written or oral instructions and solve simple problems.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the set-up of serving lines and maintain proper food temperatures.
• Prepare foods per menu plan and Opaa! recipes; batch cook and present well.
• Operate slicers, mixers, grinders with proper certification and care.
• Keep work areas neat, clean, and organized; maintain FIFO inventory.
• Handle cash register tasks and meal reconciliation as required.
• Submit hours by clocking in or editing sheets; notify DNS of absences.
• Participate in the Daily Dish and safety trainings; follow HACCP procedures.
