Job summary

Millbury Public Schools seeks a General Cafeteria Worker at Millbury Jr./Sr. High School for the 2026-2027 school year. This part-time position is 3.75 hours daily, Monday through Friday, during the school year.

You will assist in food preparation, serve meals, help with cleaning, follow sanitation procedures, and may perform cashier duties as needed. Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent; food service experience is preferred, and ability to lift 30+ pounds is required.

GENERAL CAFETERIA WORKER MILLBURY JR./SR. HIGH SCHOOL 2026-2027 School Year 3.75 hours per day, Monday-Friday, School Year Position

GENERAL DUTIES: Work with the Cook Manager to carry out any necessary food preparation responsibilities for the school lunch program if needed. To serve food to students and staff, as instructed and per school nutrition requirements. Assist in daily cleaning of all kitchen areas, equipment, tables and dishes. To follow all sanitation and safety procedures. Perform Cashiering duties as needed. To perform other cafeteria duties as determined by the Cook Manager, Food Service Director or School Administration.

QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred Food Service experience preferred Perform a variety of tasks and assignments in a timely manner Ability to lift over thirty (30) pounds.
