Mifflin County School District is seeking a substitute Food Truck/Van Driver to support the district-wide food service program. The role involves delivering food and supplies to schools, loading/unloading, and meeting safety standards.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, a valid PA driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted (130 pounds with assistance). Previous truck driving experience is preferred.

Cafeteria Substitute Food Truck/Van Driver

Location: District Wide

The Mifflin County School District is accepting applications for substitute Food Service truck/van drivers.

Responsibilities include:

• Collecting, loading and unloading food/paper supplies with and without assistance
• Drive truck/van and deliver food/paper supplies to schools and to other locations throughout the district.
• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
• Ability to lift, unassisted, and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Ability to lift 130 pounds assisted
• Previous work experience or training related to truck driving
• Valid PA Driver's License

The hourly rate is $14.00/hour. Work hours are between 8:00am and 2pm.

Act 34, 151 and Federal Act 114 clearances, school health physical with TB test, and Act 168 background checks required.
