Job summary

BCI is seeking a Food Service Worker to assist in food presentation, setup, serving and sanitation of the cafeteria and dining room. You will perform a variety of tasks across kitchen and dining areas, following established procedures.

Responsibilities include setting up and replenishing lines, assembling salads, making cold sandwiches, washing dishes per HACCP standards, and keeping dining and kitchen spaces clean. Flexibility to assist with other tasks and adhere to company rules is expected.

Qualifications

• Must follow set procedures in accomplishing repetitive assignments and follow established sequence of work.
• Demonstrated history of related food service experience preferably with a major institution or the military is desired.
• ServSafe certification preferred; may be required if hired.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of tasks following established procedures in the kitchen and dining area.
• Set up and replenish cafeteria lines and dining room stations with hot and cold food items.
• Assemble fresh fruit and salads in standard serving sizes.
• Wash dishes, pots and pans and utensils according to HACCP standards.
• Adhere to company rules and perform other tasks as assigned.
