Army NAF is seeking a kitchen worker to prepare and cook a range of simple dishes in a military dining environment. The role includes assisting with salad bars, following precise recipes, and maintaining sanitation standards on a rotating schedule that includes nights and weekends.

Candidates should be able to lift up to 40 pounds, stand for long periods, and pass pre-employment checks. This is a full-time, on-base position with access to on-base facilities and benefits.

Competenze

• Experience in preparing foods and cooking simple foods in a cafeteria, restaurant, or mess.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and sanitation requirements.
• Must be able to lift or move objects up to 40 pounds and work for extended periods while standing.

Mansioni

• Perform a full range of simple cooking, including pancakes, sausage, eggs, hamburgers, and vegetables.
• Prepare ingredients according to recipes and assemble regular/modified menu items.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and maintain sanitation; cover, date, and store leftovers.
• Assist with salads, cold fillings, and salad bar setup and replenishment.
• Work a 7-day schedule with nights, weekends and holidays as required.
