Job summary

Serrato Corporation in Little Rock, AR seeks a dedicated kitchen helper to assist in meal preparation and dining area sanitation. You will support a 28-day menu cycle, help ensure nutrition guidelines, and maintain safe food handling practices.

Responsibilities include assisting with ordering, receiving, storing, inventorying, and issuing food, while delivering quality customer service to students and staff. Prior experience in fast-paced kitchens is preferred; training is provided.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic food preparation and proper food handling procedures.
• Knowledge of general kitchen equipment and appliances.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work under direction of senior personnel and follow recipes.
• High level of organization, interpersonal, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare well-balanced, nutritious meals as part of a 28-day cycle menu.
• Assist in meal service for various activities and ensure options meet guidelines.
• Maintain sanitation and safety of kitchen and dining areas.
• Help with ordering, receiving, storing, inventory, and issuing food products.
• Ensure student input into meal planning and quality service.
