Job summary

Qualifications

• 2 years of work related experience in a cafeteria/food service setting.
• ServSafe-certified or ability to be certified.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and cooks meals in accordance with approved menus, standardized recipes, portion requirements, and meal schedules.
• Ensures food is properly prepared and maintained at safe temperatures.
• Sets up and replenishes serving lines for timely, courteous meal service to students and staff.
• Follows food safety, sanitation, personal hygiene, and safe food handling requirements.
• Cleans and sanitizes kitchen equipment, utensils, surfaces, serving areas and dining areas.
