Montgomery County Common Pleas Court's Juvenile Division seeks a full-time Cook (CAS) to prepare meals for youths and staff at the Center for Adolescent Services. You will follow approved menus, work in a state-licensed kitchen, and ensure safe handling of meats, fruits, vegetables, and desserts.

The role requires attention to dietary restrictions and allergies, cooperation with medical staff for special meals, maintaining sanitary conditions, and proper storage.

Qualifications

• One year experience and/or training in institutional food preparation.
• Ability to document identity and employment eligibility within three days of appointment.
• Knowledge of dietary needs and proper nutrition.
• Ability to follow menus and recipes and maintain sanitary practices.

Responsabilités

• Prepares meals for youths and staff following menus and recipes.
• Prepares meats, salads, breads, vegetables, fruits, desserts and other items.
• Adheres to health department guidelines and food service standards.
• Prepares special meals for dietary or religious needs as directed.
• Maintains sanitary conditions and cleans kitchen equipment and areas.
• Monitors storage and prevents spoilage; reports equipment issues.
