Job summary

Sodexo is hiring a Cafeteria Cook at Endicott College in Beverly, MA. This full-time role involves preparing, portioning, cooking and presenting a variety of hot and cold foods for all meals and events, following Sodexo’s culinary standards for quality and presentation.

In a fast-paced kitchen, you will ensure food is prepared safely and efficiently, maintain a clean workstation, and support teamwork while upholding high standards of sanitation.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 0–2 years of related work experience preferred.
• Knowledge of basic operation of equipment and food handling procedures is preferred.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Good working knowledge of food preparation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, portion, cook and present a variety of hot and cold foods for all meals and events.
• Follow recipes and product directions for food prep.
• Estimate food requirements and check production to plan quantities.
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation and adhere to food safety standards.
• Attend shifts on time; perform other duties as needed.
