Sodexo is hiring a Cook for Berea College. You will prepare and present a variety of hot and cold items for all meal periods in a fast-paced kitchen, following Sodexo standards for quality, safety and presentation.

Responsibilities include following recipes, estimating production needs, and maintaining a clean workstation. The role requires mobility, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally, and reliable attendance, with open availability for shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Basic food-handling knowledge and safety procedures preferred.
• Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions.

Responsabilités

• Prepare, portion, cook and present hot and cold items per Sodexo standards.
• Follow recipes and product directions to ensure quality and consistency.
• Estimate food requirements, monitor production, and keep production records.
• Significant walking or mobility required.
• Stand for extended periods and lift up to 35 pounds regularly, 50 pounds occasionally.
• Perform repetitive motions and attend scheduled shifts on time.
• Other duties as assigned by account needs.
