Grand Central Bakery is seeking a friendly Cafe Team Member to join our Oregon cafés. You will deliver warm, attentive service, prepare and serve food and drinks, and support a fast-paced environment while working across multiple stations. The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and upholding our mission and values.

You will work part-time with flexible hours, including weekends, reporting to the Café Manager. Prior food service experience is preferred and a valid Food Handler's Card is required.

Qualifikationen

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Maintains a valid Food Handler's Card and follows health guidelines.
• Regular attendance and punctuality are required.
• Basic math skills and comfortable handling cash.

Aufgaben

• Deliver outstanding customer service and follow the 3 Steps to Great Service.
• Operate at all café stations as trained (opening/closing, sandwich bar, baking, prep, mid-shifts).
• Assist in training new team members and maintain welcoming environment.
• Be proficient with GCB systems: POS, R365, KDS; assist with orders when needed.
• Prepare and serve café products per Grand Central Bakery specifications; ensure quality and safety.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety, report hazards or injuries promptly.
• Support teamwork, communicate respectfully, and uphold company values.
