Creative Dining Services is seeking a full-time Cafe Supervisor at Washtenaw Community College in Ann Arbor, MI. The role entails leading a team of baristas and food service specialists, overseeing daily operations, inventory management, and driving customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include staff training, developing beverage offerings, implementing promotional strategies, and maintaining high standards of service to achieve sales targets and create a welcoming atmosphere.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience in a cafe or coffee shop role.
• Proven leadership skills with experience in supervising a team.
• Experience with inventory management systems (preferred).
• Food service certification or training from a recognized institution (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of staff to ensure efficient service and product quality.
• Train and mentor staff on food and beverage preparation techniques, customer service skills, and health and safety standards.
• Manage inventory levels, placing orders as necessary, and ensuring proper storage and handling of products.
• Develop and implement promotional strategies to increase sales and enhance customer experience.
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring a positive resolution.
