Job summary

LEGOLAND Discovery Center Kansas City is seeking a hands-on Café Supervisor to help run café operations and keep the FUN going for families visiting the LEGO experience. You will lead a small café team, coach and motivate staff, and ensure a welcoming environment while maintaining food safety standards.

The role requires flexibility to work weekends and holidays, with opportunities to contribute to guest experiences and daily operations as Manager on Duty.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small café team inside the attraction.

At LEGOLAND Discovery Center Kansas City, we’re looking for an energetic, hands-on Café Supervisor to help run our café operations and keep the FUN going for thousands of families who are looking to add some caffeine and some food to their magical LEGO experience.The ideal candidate will be open to a flexible schedule that requires working weekends and holidays.

Qualifications & Experience

You do not need years of food & beverage experience to succeed in this position. If you’re a strong people leader with hospitality, retail, attractions, café/coffee shop, entertainment, or customer service leadership experience — we can teach the café side.

What You’ll Be Doing:

You’ll lead a small café team inside the attraction while helping create a fun, clean, and welcoming environment for guests.

Your day may include:

• Coaching and motivating team members
• Jumping in during busy rushes
• Supporting food & beverage operations including Starbucks and concession stand like food items
• Helping manage inventory and supplies
• Staying on top of and placing smart and efficient weekly orders for the Café
• Ensuring food safety and cleanliness standards
• Delivering great guest experiences
• Supporting daily operations as Manager on Duty
• Celebrating team wins and building morale

This is a hands‑on leadership role — not a “sit in the office” position.

Pay Range

USD $19.00/Hr.
