Job summary

Gould Farm is seeking a Work Team Leader for the Roadside Store & Café to help run daily restaurant operations, foster a welcoming atmosphere, and support the therapeutic community environment. You will supervise, train, and collaborate with volunteers and staff to ensure quality service and safety.

The role emphasizes teamwork, strong communication, and organizational skills while contributing to Gould Farm's mission and values.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years food service/restaurant experience in a fast paced establishment preferred; Grill/Short Order Cook experience is helpful.
• Ability to work collaboratively as a team member.
• Strong communication and organization skills and the ability to assist with the integration of community feedback into continuous improvement essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the daily operation of the restaurant and maintaining standards of excellence in work team performance and service.
• Prepare and deliver menu items with attention to quality and service.
• Assist in stocking and organizing inventory to keep shelves stocked and materials available for menu preparation.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary and safe work environment.
• General housekeeping tasks and sanitation procedures.
