Job summary

The Clover and the Bee in Webster Groves, MO is seeking a Shift Lead to help lead our daytime café team and keep service running smoothly, warmly, and efficiently. Barista experience is required, with leadership preferred. This is a tipped hourly position with a small premium for shifts.

Responsibilities

• Opening and closing the café.
• Directing the flow of service and keeping the team organized.
• Training and supporting team members.
• Providing on-the-spot direction and communicating coaching concerns to management.
• Maintaining hospitality, cleanliness, and service standards.
• Interacting with guests and resolving day-to-day issues.
• Preparing espresso drinks and supporting beverage service.
• Taking orders, running food, bussing tables, and packing to-go orders.
• Restocking and keeping a clean, organized café.
• Jumping in wherever needed to keep service moving.
