Eurest in Washington, DC is seeking a Cafe & Retail Manager to oversee the daily operation of our corporate cafe and on-site retail services. You will manage staff, ensure operational efficiency, cash controls and payroll records, and deliver exceptional customer service.

The ideal candidate has cafe management experience, strong financial acumen, knowledge of coffee operations, and ServSafe certification; must be flexible to working hours including weekends.

Qualifications

• Culinary degree or A.A. degree with related experience.
• Three+ years supervisory experience in food service operations.
• Knowledge of retail, food and catering trends; focus on quality.
• Strong leadership, coaching and communication skills.
• Financial, budgeting and accounting skills; proficient with MS Office.
• ServSafe Certified.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily administrative and operational tasks.
• Manage staff and payroll controls.
• Handle budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting.
• Control costs and monitor expenditures.
• Ensure sanitation and safety of units.
• Coordinate with marketing and culinary teams on programs.
