Job summary

Maplefields & R.L. Vallee in Vermont is seeking a Kitchen Coordinator for Myfresh Cafe or Amato's to oversee daily operations, ensure optimal customer experience, and maintain smooth kitchen workflow.

You will direct food preparation for hot plate and cold well items, keeping grab-and-go offerings fresh and well stocked while upholding Food Safety Standards. This full-time role involves supervising staff, coordinating with the Store Manager, managing inventory and orders, minimizing waste, and

Qualifications

• Kitchen experience and a valid food safety certificate or willingness to obtain certification.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead a team and operate with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Prepare customer orders as per food prep procedures and ensure hot plate and cold well are stocked with fresh grab-and-go items.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary work environment and proper equipment sanitation.
• Receive, rotate, and store incoming orders; manage inventory to prevent shortages and waste.
• Communicate with kitchen and store staff; assist the Store Manager in hiring, training, and supervising kitchen staff.
• Place orders to maintain stock, document waste, and ensure proper dating and temperature checks.
• Lead the kitchen during busy times and promote a positive, collaborative work environment.
