Crema Gourmet in Coral Gables, FL, seeks a Café Manager to organize daily operations and motivate staff to deliver exceptional service. You will oversee BOH/FOH, hire and train, and ensure profitability while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.

Ideal candidates have a hospitality background, 2+ years managing cafes, and strong leadership and communication skills. Weekend and holiday availability is expected as part of a high-volume coffee shop team.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's in Hospitality preferred.
• Two or more years of restaurant/café manager experience required.
• Hands-on experience with professional coffee machines.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent motivational and leadership skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage operating costs within budgets.
• Organized and detail-oriented.

Responsabilités

• Manage day-to-day operations of the café
• Ensure the restaurant-café is staffed by recruiting, hiring, and onboarding new BOH and FOH staff when necessary
• Advise staff on resolving client issues and delivering excellent customer service
• Handle all serious conversations and corrective actions for every team member
• Train employees on drink preparation and proper use of coffee equipment
• Handle all scheduling shifts between FOH and BOH staff
• Coordinate with vendors and order supplies as needed
• Maintain updated records of revenues and expenses
• Conduct food and beverage inventory effectively and on time
• Handle and oversee all orders and payments to vendors
• Add new menu items based on seasonality and customer preferences
• Ensure all areas are clean and tidy per guidelines
• Nurture friendly relationships with customers to increase loyalty
• Ensure staff exceed customer service expectations and provide ongoing training
