Job summary

The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead daily store operations, coach the team, and ensure guest satisfaction in our California location. You’ll drive sales, uphold standards, and mentor baristas to deliver premium coffee and tea experiences.

As a hands-on leader, you’ll partner with the General Manager to optimize operations, safety, and profitability while fostering a welcoming, energetic, and guest-focused environment for our Brew Crew.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a front-of-house team in a retail cafe or quick-service environment.
• Ability to coach and train staff to deliver premium coffee and tea experiences.
• Focus on safety, guest service, and store profitability.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example and coach the team to enhance sales and service performance.
• Be a coffee and tea expert and share knowledge with staff and guests.
• Generate new guests and engage with the local community.
• Ensure safe store environment and prioritize health of employees and guests.
• Assist the GM with daily operations and store growth initiatives.
• Oversee visual merchandising and product placement to create memorable experiences.
• Represent CBTL locally to attract and retain talent.
