Job summary

Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Ottawa seeks a seasoned Food & Beverage Manager to lead the restaurant division, oversee budgeting, scheduling, and ensure exemplary guest service. You will manage forecasting, inventory, payroll, and cost controls to maintain budgetary profit margins.

The role requires strong communication, analytical abilities, and flexibility in a fast-paced hotel environment. You will supervise the management team and work to optimize revenue and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Monitors training of management as well as line level team.
• Develops and updates policies and procedures for food and beverage staff.
• Reviews guest service evaluations and resolves complaints to restore guest faith.
• Performs routine inspections of all restaurants during key result times.
• Maximizes employee morale by leading by example.
• Interviews, hires, commends, disciplines, or terminates restaurant management and hourly employees as needed.
• Attends departmental meetings and conducts weekly management meetings.
