Responsibilities:
- Team Management: Manage café staff, promote a positive work environment, handle recruiting, interviewing, hiring, coaching, training, and staff development. Set clear goals and monitor progress.
- Partner with HR: Address personnel issues, embody La Farm values such as exceeding customer expectations, quality, dignity, community, learning, teaching, and innovation.
- Product Development: Develop new items, ensure product freshness and innovation, perform competitive checks, and engage staff in effective customer interactions and sales.
- Sales and Customer Service: Increase sales, meet and exceed company goals, ensure high standards of customer service, and act as a Brand Ambassador.
Additional Duties:
- Assist General Manager in bakery operations, manage labor schedules, plan menu features, enforce staff training, oversee facility maintenance, and ensure safety and sanitation standards.
- Manage costs, oversee reports, and ensure compliance with laws and company policies.
Qualifications:
- Previous food service management experience
- Financial analysis skills, proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Excellent organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, flexible with weekends and holidays
Physical Demands:
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for long periods
